Expansion of the Saint Catherine Campus...

A new Pre-K through 8^th grade Education Center that will include resource centers for music, technology, library, classrooms and safe play areas. It will also house meeting rooms, offices, storage and a before/after-care area.

Enhanced grounds and parking. We plan to expand our parking and eventually develop our grounds to include a quiet prayer area. All parking and buildings will be handicapped accessible and will include covered areas for drop-off. The contiguous facility will make safer paths to and from the church and lunch area for our students.
Restored church bell tower. The original bell tower (now on the south side of the school) will be restored and used as the entrance for the new education center.
A New Parish Life Center with an expanded kitchen, athletic facility, meeting rooms, and storage space. This will address needed areas for activities and events that go on in our parish -- funeral dinners, wedding receptions, meetings and diocesan and school athletic events. Part of this expanded gymnasium will include a stage for school plays and programs.
Meeting rooms that will provide a place for religious education for our children and youth, faith formation opportunities for our adults, and facilities for retreats, seminars, Bible studies and more.
A new youth space for meetings and activities, including a multi-use recreation area.

While this undertaking is an ambitious one, it will allow us to meet all of our current and projected needs. The result will be a spacious facility that will allow our parish and school to grow in both academic excellence and community service. It will be a place for teaching our children the story of God's grace, for worshiping God, for serving the community, and for growing Saint Catherine Parish in Christ's love for years to come.

Financial Situation...

A welcome result of our current macroeconomic climate is a reduced price in the materials needed for construction projects. As a result, our budget is hovering between $2.5MM - $3MM. To date, we have raised over one-third of the needed funds. It is critical that we quickly locate the remaining funding to ensure maximized value from every donated dollar!

Saint Catherine is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization and all charitable gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Gifts of cash, securities, real estate, insurance and planned gifts are welcomed.
