Our Need...
Over the years, the school building has suffered irreparable foundation damage that has created unsightly fractures, and the repair and maintenance costs now exceed the value of the structure. In addition, the classrooms created during the renovation of 1986 are too small to accommodate our class size maximum of 20 students.
Therefore, in order to fulfill our mission, the Saint Catherine community must build a new school building which will also include expansion of the activity center/gymnasium. These new structures would not only serve our existing communities, but would attract additional students and parishioners.
· We will have additional space to house and grow our parish and school activities and special events that are designed to bring our community closer together (i.e. Autumn Fiesta, Trivia Night, Ministry Fair, etc.).
· We will have adequate space to accommodate our middle school students and their growing bodies.
· We will be able to better educate our students in science and the arts with the addition of a science lab, music and art room.
· We will be able to host Diocesan athletic events that will help us gain exposure to the greater Catholic community.
· We will have facilities that are equal to the caliber of student we serve.
· We will have the secure environment needed to ensure our students' safety and protection against natural disasters, intruders and other potential dangers.
· We will be able to continue the long standing Saint Catherine tradition of excellence and ensure its presence in west Tulsa and the entire Green Country Catholic community.
